Production Planning Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Job Description

Manage and prepare weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly Production Planning Schedule according to Sales Forecast, to meet demand efficiently.
Responsible for creating the accurate production planning, production schedule and requisition of Raw Materials require, and ensuring it is properly executed by the Production team.
Possess strong analytical, mathematical, statistical to analyze data, and problem-solving skills.
Ensure efficient and cost-effective planning to prevent wastage.
Ability to communicate, collaborate and coordinate skills with various inter departments, such as Sales, Purchasing.
Excellent organizational, presentation and time-management skills.
Prepare monthly reports for Board of Directors review.
Controlling and maintaining optimal inventory levels at all production stages.
Planning to ensure the maximum utilization of resources, including machinery, workforce and materials.
Assisting with cost and budget controls to achieve goals at the minimum cost.

Bachelor/ MA degree in Steel Production Planning or related field. Understanding of Steel Production or Construction, will be a plus.
At least 5 years’ experience in a production planning role, preferably in the building materials manufacturing, steel and metal fabrication industry.
Proven experience in good production planning schedule and requisition of raw materials.
Excellent written and verbal English.
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Strong knowledge of production management, quality control, and inventory management.
Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
Strong attention to detail, good time management skills. and the ability to priorities work task.
